So recently I've been obsessed with making cute little knit bow baby hat afterwards cute knit bow baby hat. They make for piece of cake and super adorable gifts and I take had a bunch of friends recently have girls.
I first saw a baby bow chapeau on pinterest linked to this postal service from 20 Something Granny (which is an awesome web log name, by the way) only it doesn't look like she'due south blogged regularly in almost v years. And that bow babe chapeau pattern is for a teeny tiny hat for a newborn and is knitted flat and I wanted to make a bigger version for babe Five knit in the circular.
So I basically used my standard hat design in three-6 month size and added a stripe and bow. Here's my version, inspired by hers.
Oh and fix yourself for waaay too many pics of Baby V. You know that saying that second children never have as many photos taken of them every bit outset children? Yeah, that's not going to happen hither, lol!

Knit Bow Baby Chapeau
(size 12 months, see PDF version for other sizes!)
This pattern is copyright Little Crimson Window Design 2017 and is intended for personal utilise. You may not not distribute, reproduce or sell this pattern either physically or digitally.
Gauge: 20 stitches = 4″
Knit Bow Infant Hat Knitting Pattern Supply List:
- Worsted weight yarn in a primary color and an accent color
- Round 16-Inch Knitting Needles, Size vii
- 7-Inch Double pointed knitting needles, Size vii
- Yarn needle

Knit Bow Babe Hat Knitting Pattern Instructions:
Using long-tail cast on, cast on 72 stitches onto your round needles with the chief yarn color. Join to knit in the round and knit 2 stitches, purl 2 stitches in a rib stitch for 5 rows.
Stay with main color and knit 2 rows.
Switch to emphasis yarn and knit iv rows.
Switch back to main yarn and knit until the hat in nigh five inches long.
Decrease (divide the stitches between three double pointed needles and knit with the fourth):
Round one: (k6, k2tog) repeat to the end of the circular
Round two: Knit all stitches
Round 3: (k5, k2tog) echo to the end of the circular
Circular iv: Knit all stitches
Round 5: (k4, k2tog) repeat to the finish of the round
Circular 6: Knit all stitches to the end of the round.
Round vii: (k3, k2tog) repeat to the end of the round
Circular eight: Knit all stitches to the terminate of the round
Round 9: (k2, k2tog) echo to the terminate of the round
Rounds 10: Knit all stitches
Round 11: (k1, k2tog) repeat to the end of the round
Rounds 12: Knit all stitches
Round thirteen: k2tog repeat to the cease of the circular
Cutting yarn, pull through loops and close. Weave in ends.
The Bow:
All rows: k all stitches for seven or nine rows

Tips and Tricks for knitting the Bow Baby Lid knitting blueprint:
- Brand sure to sew the bow on tightly so that information technology is safe for babe
- If your bow starts to ringlet up, you might want to tack it down with one small-scale stitch on either edge
- If your ribbing at the brim is loose, size down to a size U.s.a. 6 needle for that section and switch dorsum to a size U.s. 7 for the rest of the pattern
